This summer has flown and I have just figured out how to get back on this website to blog. Now I'll be doing this weekly or so, we'll see. We had a sale in June at the old warehouse, which brought back memories of living in a space with no windows. It was fun, we were wheeling and dealing to empty that warehouse. I had kept that space as overflow because of my buying, but I found that what goes in that space, stays in that space. So it was time to get rid of it. We'll have bits and pieces of what is left brought over to the store and it will be priced to go. I think on Friday we will have some shelving at really good prices.

Last Saturday was an exciting day in Shorewood. Andrea Waysock from Adams and Wesley Auction Gallery came in for the day and appraised items brought in all day long. We had over 65 people with several treasures each to show us all. We had fun looking at the different items and learning about them. We are going to do it again. Andrea said she would do it every year.

This weekend, June 23-25 we will be decorating a Dream Room sponsored by the Herald News and Three Rivers Realty Association. This is an annual event where you can enter and win a room makeover. We will be starting Friday evening, new carpet, paint, drapery, furniture, some electrical work. We will have the weekend only! The homeowners are put up in an area hotel by 3 Rivers and the Herald News for the weekend. What fun! I'll let you know how it went and try to put some pictures of the before and after (I'm still learning this internet stuff) on the "blog". Anyway, it will be a busy weekend.
