Diane and I have been shopping. We went to the Chicago Gift Show to see what was happening. On Sunday 1/28/07 Diane, Linda and I are going to Las Vegas.

At the Chicago show the colors continue to be that aqua blue along with complimentary greens and the chocolate brown. Red is still popular along with the bronzes and dark metals. We didn't see a lot of white except the usual spring stuff. We saw a focus on lake and beach colors and accessories. I don't know how that will play in the landlocked midwest, but we'll see. We bought a new line of clocks called Timeworks that will be coming soon.

So, you survived the holidays, now it's time to get back to the house. Relax, take down the Christmas, put it away, get the kids back in school and think about the rooms that need your attention.

We will be doing the same thing, but we will be in Las Vegas at the new market centers and thinking about your rooms that need attention. New stuff, old stuff, new accessories, new art, metal art, so much your head will spin. We will be shopping for a week and cover the 3.5 million square foot of buildings that are stuffed with anything imaginable. So to heck with the gambling tables and shows, we are doing what we love, shopping for you.

Here we are, tis the season. The trees are up, the nativity sets are out and the store is ready for you to come on down.
